Inspired By Sunflowers

Meriatrics was originally founded in 2019 to offer sensible solutions to reduce older adult loneliness and isolation through increased social engagement and enjoyment.

 

For all the services that seniors receive, an all-too-common social void goes unmet. Older adults want, need and deserve the same social stimulation that we all enjoy. The key for them is access and that's what we deliver -- conveniently, flexibly and affordably. 

 

Our services are inspired by the beautiful sunflower. In contrast with many negative cultural attitudes toward aging and the elderly, the sunflower perfectly depicts positivity of the stage (wisdom, strength, resilience, endurance confidence, knowledge, pride, gratitude, etc.) as well as possibility of one's age (peace, contentment, joy, fun, warmth, connection, love, comfort, beauty, etc.)
