COVID Policy 

COVID Policy

Meriatrics LLC ("Company", "we") takes the health/safety of clients, companion providers, and business associates ("Parties") seriously. We have therefore adopted to help prevent/mitigate the spread of COVID-19 and other airborne illnesses while conducting business.

 

This Policy is a condition for participation in direct/in-person consultations and services ("Services"). All Parties  acknowledge their understanding and acceptance of this Policy and consent to be bound by it.

CDC Guidance

This Policy conforms to guidance from the U.S. Centers For Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Current CDC guidelines for protecting yourself and others can be found here. Links to related information in states where we conduct business are indicated below:

All Parties agree to observe the following guidelines:   

Companion Provider Responsibilities:

  • Self-screen and self-govern prior to service consultations/appointments

  • Implement recommended safety measures before, during, and post services

  • Participate with any required screening at facilities/venues (if applicable)

  • Observe routine precautions for hand hygiene, disinfection, etc.

  • If sick, stay home, isolate/quarantine and/or seek medical advice/treatment as needed

  • If needed, notify Meriatrics LLC for cancellation of service consultation/appointment

  • Provide appropriate documentation of vaccination/medical exception (if required)

Client Responsibilities (including respective family members/authorized parties)

  • ​Self-screen and self-govern according to CDC guidelines prior to consultation/appointments

  • Cooperate with any required screening (if applicable)

  • Observe routine considerations for hand hygiene, cough etiquette, etc.

  • Comply with appropriate masking/social distancing, if warranted/requested   

​​COVID-19 and other airborne illnesses can pose serious health risks. While this Policy is intended to help prevent/mitigate virus spread, we are unable to make any guarantees that you or others receiving, providing, or attending in-person consultation or Services will not become exposed or infected.

 

No Warranties

 

Parties subject to this Policy acknowledge, agree and accept that all risks related to COVID-19, or related airborne illness incurred or suffered, are personally and individually assumed and not the responsibility of Meriatrics LLC. The Parties further indemnify and hold Meriatrics LLC, its owners, agents, successors and assigns, harmless from any related claims, cause of actions, complaints, lawsuits, demands, damages or liabilities of any kind.

Updates

 

We reserve the right to change or modify this Covid Policy at any time without notice. Updates are indicated at the top ("Updated") with correlating date. 

We also reserve the right to refuse, modify, cancel, postpone and/or reschedule services if, in the sole and absolute opinion of Meriatrics LLC, doing so is warranted for the health, safety, or well-being of others. ​
